During this project, I worked in an engineering team of four to design a system for the dispensing, transfer, and proper recycling of containers. This group was split into two sub-teams: Modelling and computing, to accomplish the task at hand. The modelling sub-team focused on designing a hopper able to use a gear and actuator system to dump containers into a bin. While the computing sub-team was tasked with creating a code model capable of classifying containers using data from the virtual environment, analyzing containers for contamination, and transferring them to their respective bins.
